Our team seeks visionary scripts and creators whose work expands the cultural and cinematic landscape. We specialize in co-development and co-producing with partners across the U.S. Hispanic/Latinx ecosystem, its diaspora, and Latin America. We support projects from early script refinement to packaging and creative producing.
Our approach is artisanal, collaborative, and committed to storytelling that travels.
PRODUCTION SERVICES

At Filmes Casa, we collaborate with artists and directors to take projects from concept to completion. As creative and experienced line producers, we translate artistic vision into the financial, logistical, and managerial systems needed to make it real.
Our production services emphasize inclusive teamwork and precise planning. We oversee budgeting, scheduling, locations, crew, vendors, and on-set operations across features, shorts, documentaries, and music videos.
CONSULTING & WORKSHOPS

More than a workplace, Filmes Casa is a dynamic, creative hub with formative programs, networking labs, and workshops. We offer expert advice ranging from screenwriting to local film production.

Samara is founder and creative producer of Filmes Casa. Early fascination with cinema led Samara to develop as a 360 filmmaker. As an award-winning screenwriter, director and producer, their authorship includes a portfolio of projects focused on bold, fun, and original stories about life, love and queerness for international audiences. From Filmes Casa, Samara combines artistic sensitivity with diligence, transparency and structure, becoming a leading force in the successful development of high-quality content.

Shakira is the production manager of Filmes Casa. Since she was young, Shakira trained in audiovisual production and has gained experience producing films, music videos, and commercials. Her award-winning filmography defines her professionalism, dedication and character as one of the most prominent emerging producers nationwide. Now, Shakira manages new projects, giving them the attention to detail that makes the difference.

Culture & Community Programs Coordinator

Andrea Laguerra Viera is a film and audiovisual professional focused on connecting creative practice with community engagement. At Filmes Casa, she supports the design and implementation of formative initiatives such as La Gira and Sala de Productorxs, combining her experience in production, coordination, and project management. Through a collaborative approach, Andrea builds relationships with emerging filmmakers across Puerto Rico and helps create inclusive learning spaces that expand access to industry knowledge.
